How to Create a Test Patient

You can set up test patients in your group to practice ICANotes if you are new or to practice newly released enhancements.

 

 

1. Give the test patient a non-standard name or a name with Test as the last name - something to differentiate it from an actual patient. For example, the test patient created below is Micky Mouse.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Click the Sample Chart checkbox at the top of Demographics to designate the chart as a test chart. This will keep it from appearing in certain reports and altering your actual patient data. Fill in other fields as required/necessary.

 

 

 

 

3. Once the chart is set up, click the Save and go to Chart Face button.

 

 

 

 

4. A test patient is now set up that you can experiment with.
