How To Create An ICD-10 Short List

The Short List of ICD-10 Codes can be comprised of all the ICD-10 codes that you use the most. The Short List of ICD-10 Codes is available in the Diagnosis fields under the ICD10 Short List tab.

How to create a Short List

1. From the Chart Room, click the SettingsScreenshot for How To Create An ICD-10 Short List from the Chartroom.

2. Click the Specific to Individual tab. (This screenshot is seen from a Group Administrator point of view.)

3. Create the list using ICD-10 By Code

or by ICD-10 entry area.

4. If you make an invalid entry by code, a popup warning will show. A warning will also show if you add a diagnosis twice.

5. If you are a Group Administrator, you can copy the Short List of ICD-10 Codes from one user and paste to another. 

  a. Copy the provider that has the Short List of ICD-10 Codes that you want to share by clicking the Copy button. 

  b. A popup message will show stating that the list has been copied.   

  c. Go to the provider that you want to paste the Short List of ICD-10 Codes and click the Paste button.
