Mandating Fields in Custom Forms

When creating custom forms using the Form Builder via the Premium Patient Portal, Portal Admins now have the ability to mandate whether or not a field is required to be completed by the client/patient before submission. Once published or sent to the client, any mandated field in a custom form will be denoted with a red * asterisk.

From within the work areas of the custom form an additional column header, "Required" will now be visible, and each field will have a toggle in which a Portal Administrator can designate it a mandated field.

When the requirement field is set it will appear green. When it is disabled, it will appear grey.

When completing the form the patient will be know a field is required by the presence of the red * asterisk.

If the form is submitted while the mandated field(s) is blank, the patient will be unable to click "Complete" and submit the form to their provider. Instead they will see the following tool tip when they try to press the button: All required fields must be entered to submit
