ICANotes will reorder medications on the finished note for both ICANotes and DrFirst. 

 

• Newly ordered (Start) medications will always show first on the finished note. 
• Existing or continued medications will show after new medications.
• Stopped medications will show last on the finished note.

 

For this patient, Clonazepam has been stopped, Avandia is continued, and Xanax was started. You can see the order on the Medication Entry window.

 

 

 

 

On the finished note, the medication that was started is listed as first, the continued medication is second, and the medication that was stopped is last.
