Question: I'm an Intake Coordinator and complete intakes from the pending patients in my pipeline report. My patients aren't getting their appointment reminders after I schedule their Initial Appointments. Do I need special privileges?
Answer: There are several things that could be preventing an appointment reminder from going out, or causing the appearance that none are being received.
1. It is important to look at the status of the patients. A lot of new patients are put into a pending status. If you have them set to pending, they could still be filling out information for the portal, but they will not be able to receive updates via text:
2. A Security Administrator should call Support to ensure that Portal Reminder Service Text and Emails group rule is enabled.
3. Its entirely possible that they are indeed receiving the updates, but you are not seeing it from the reminder service.
