  • Has access to following screens
    • Calendar
    • Patient Account
    • Patient Demographics
  • NOT able to have access to the chart
  • Productivity Report option is not available from main B/P Report screen
  • Finished Note preview is not viewable from Billing Report option

Security Administrators should never assign this role to him/herself.

To assign a user with the non-clinical role-based security designation, Security Administrators will navigate to group level Settings and Directories, then click  to go to the Security Center (following a password prompt). Scroll to the username whose account you wish to modify, then click the  button to make changes

Next to the user's discipline, you will see the "Role" option. Click in the dropdown field to select "Non-Clinical"

This is what the Chart Face will look like for a Non-Clinical Role user:

To remove the Non-Clinical designation, following the same steps to go to the Security Center and edit the user account, then in the Role field click the red X to remove the designation

Save your changes and go back to the Security Center. The user should  from the Chart Room, then log back in to see their updated settings.
