If your session is disconnecting frequently when idle, here are a few places that you can check the settings.
Within ICANotes: Ask a security administrator to check your inactivity timeout.
Check your computer's screen saver settings.
On Windows 10:
1. Right click on your desktop (not over an icon) and select Personalize from the dropdown menu.
2. On the Personalization screen, click on 'Lock Screen' then, scroll down to the bottom. Click on the Screen saver settings. (You can also check the Screen timeout settings here too).
3. Choose how long to wait until screen saver starts.
4. Click the
button to save settings.
Check your computer's power settings.
If you are using a laptop, check the computer's battery settings.
Network card settings (properties, configure, power management tab)
On Windows 10:
1. Right click on the
icon in the bottom left of desktop.
2. Click on Device Manager

3. Click on the arrow beside Network adapters to expand the full list.
4. Once you have located the network card, right click to get the dropdown menu and select Properties.
5. Go to the Power Management tab and deselect any options that will turn off computer.
6. Click the
button to save the settings.
